| Description |
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified Nursery Cook to join a variety of nurseries within Hertfordshire.
You will need to be passionate about providing healthy and nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years with a focus on cooking from fresh. You should have experience of catering for Children including experience of managing allergies and special dietary requirements.
Some of your responsibilities will include: • To prepare and serve good quality meals for children, and wash up and clean kitchen as required. • To competently manage the kitchen food ordering (if required). • To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery and including all environmental health and safety procedures. • To work as part of a team. • To ensure confidentiality at all times.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience: • Experience preparing and cooking meals for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years • Food Hygiene certificate to at least Level 2. • Relevant catering qualifications would be desirable. All applicants will be required to apply for an enhanced CRB disclosure
We are looking for a cook to work Monday to Friday and be flexible with the location and the hours.
