| Description |
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior practitioner to join a beautiful Nursery on the outskirts of Camberley ASAP as their Head of Pre-School.
Reporting to the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager the successful candidate will have the ability to work well in a team and on an individual basis. The Nursery Manager also owns the setting and requires a very strong management team to assist her in running the nursery.
You will be an enthusiastic team player who is able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to accept responsibility and be involved in all aspects of running the room, including supervising and motivating the staff in the room, planning and delivering the EYFS and involvement in performance reviews and where required and liaising with the Manager regarding all matters relating to the Pre-School.
The successful candidate will ideally have SENCO experience and also have experience managing a small team working in the 3-5 age group.
Required Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (essential)
Foundation Degree in Early Years (desirable) or currently studying for foundation degree.
First Aid
Child Protection
Required Experience
Post qualification experience.
Prior pre-school experience preferably in a leadership capacity.
Demonstrable track record, able to evidence key achievements.
Behaviour management experience.
Highly motivated with strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
Some experience of children with Special Needs.
Ability to deal with individuals at all levels.
