We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a well established and friendly Nursery on the outskirts of Welwyn Garden City on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Nursery Manager, the successful candidate will have the ability to work well, leading a team. This is quite a large purpose built setting catering for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
As part of the management team you will be responsible for the nursery in the manager’s absence. In addition you will be accountable for a variety of management tasks whilst still being primarily room based:
The right candidate will be expected to support the Nursery Manager in maintaining the high standards which have been achieved and to help manage the day to day running of the nursery.
You should have three year’s qualified experience, at least one of which should be as part of a management team as-well-as being a role model practitioner. You will need to have the ability to demonstrate knowledge of ofsted and the EYFS.
