Kangacrew are assisting a well known nursery with the recruitment of an Interim Manager at their setting in Maidenhead. This role is intended to commence in April for a period of 6 months initially.
The Nursery cares for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old and is open from 7.30am - 6.30pm, with core opening hours between 8am and 6pm, 52 weeks a year (except Public Holidays).
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
• You should have five year’s qualified experience, at least two of which should be as part of a management team.
• You must demonstrate leadership, financial acumen, working knowledge of Ofsted’s Standards and EYFS, as well as excellent communication skills.
• Your parent relations and your understanding of key care and education issues in the nursery should be proven.
• Finally you should be able to multi-task, delegate effectively and be a role model practitioner.
Applications are welcome from experienced, suitably qualified Nursery Managers with clear enthusiasm and dedication for the role and proven ability to manage and market the nursery successfully. This is a very successful and popular Nursery with a strong staff team, most of whom having been with the nursery for a number of years.

For the right candidate, the contract may continue at the end of 6 months, or consideration can be given for continuous employment at another nursery.
