| Description |
We are helping a nursery in the Hatfield area recruit for a Nursery Nurse who is qualified to NVQ Level 3. This is an exciting opportunity within a growing and developing nursery to continue your career and develop your skills further.
The duties within this role will include:
Participating in the care and supervision of the children at all times
Contributing to the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery operates within current legislation and guidelines, updating own knowledge as required
Assisting with the designing, delivery and evaluation of a programme of activities which suit the children’s stages of development
Ensuring that room registers, signing in/out sheets, children’s happy charts, diaries and progress charts are maintained on a regular basis
The successful applicant will have:
NVQ level 3 in Childcare & Education (or equivalent)
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities
Working knowledge of the Children’s Act, Birth to three matters and Foundation stage
Good understanding of interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with children, parents and staff.
